Yangon—Two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are reported, taking the total number of cases to 201, according to the statement by the Ministry of Health and Sports at 7 am on 23 May.
Two men with a travel history to Malaysia tested positive for the virus. Both are from Tedim Township of Chin State.
On 22 May, 740 samples—561 by National Health Laboratory (Yangon) and 179 by Department of Medical Research—were tested.
So far, there have been six deaths and 116 recovered patients.
