fighter Saw Ba Oo and Arthur
Saladiak from Poland will take
place at Wunna Theikdi Indoor
Stadium (B) in Nay Pyi Taw on
2 June, Saturday (5 p.m.).
“The fight will decide who is more courageous. I have decided to go for the knockout before the title is decided through points,” Myanmar fighter Saw Ba Oo wrote in a post, according to the World Lethwei Championship Facebook page.
Poland fighter Arthur Saladiak posted: “I have observed Saw Ba Oo’s fights. I must watch out for his right fist. It will be a historic win for me, and I am 150 per cent confident.”
The winner will become WLC’s welterweight (67-71kg) World Lethwei Champion.
The fight between Saw Ba Oo and Arthur Saladiak will be the main event of the competition, whereas the co-event is the match between Kyaw Zin Latt and Saw Darwait.
The main card events will be the fights between Michael Badato and Saw Nga Man, Tha Pyae Nyo versus Phoe La Pyae, Antonio Faria versus Mite Yine and Saw Htoo Aung versus Lethee Moe. A fight between Shwe Nadi and Nou Srey Pov in the women’s category is also included in the main card event.
