New head coach for Myanmar national team has selected the squad to play friendly match against China national team in Nanjing on May 26.
The selection came one day after Mr Antoine Hey became Myanmar national team’s head coach on May 17 and declared the squad with some changes.
The German coach’s squad sees some changes, especially former national captain Yan Aung Kyaw who was left out of the squad. Yangon United’s Kyi Lin, Shan United’s Tin Win Aung and Thiha Si Thu have also been missed out.
However, most other members of the team have been retained including senior players like Yadanarbon’s Si Thu Aung, Yangon’s Maung Maung Lwin and Shan’s Yan Naing Oo.
At the moment, both star strikers Kyaw Ko Ko and Aung Thu have been reserved in this squad because Chiang Rai’s striker Kyaw Ko Ko has knee injury while Aung Thu has to play for his team Police Tero.
These two stars have played for Thailand Premier League in this season.
Magwe’s keeper Kyaw Zin Phyo and striker Maung Maung Soe are once again added to national squad under the new coach as well as Yadanarbon’s Ye Ko Oo and Magwe’s Aung Myint Tun.
Myawady youngster Wai Yan Oo has been given a deserved first call-up following his contribution with Myawady while Yangon youngster Aee Soe continues to be included along with Shan United’s duo Zin Min Tun and Dway Ko Ko Chit in the forward line of national team.
