Nay Pyi Taw crowns U-13 Boy’s States and Regions Football Tournament

As a final match of U-13 Boy’s States and Regions Football Tournament, Nay Pyi Taw and Ayeyawaddy U-13 football team played at Thuwunna ground stadium in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw won the champion of the tourney by beating Ayeyawady with 2-1 result. Both teams seemed equal in skills and played alternatively from the start.
        However, misunderstanding between Ayeyawady’s defender and keeper caused leading goal for Nay Pyi Taw at 7 minute.
        The leading goal was scored immediately by Nay Pyi Taw’s striker Nyan Lin Maung.
        After the goal, Ayeyawady used speedy play and got stability in football control and distribution along with gaining goal opportunities.
        At 23 minute, Ayeyawady team got an equalizer by Khun Than Kyaw’s strong kick directly into the goal net.
        Both teams played very carefully at the other half and scored no more goals in the ordinary time.
        A single or winning goal of Nay Pyi Taw scored by Paing Zay Thaw within 2 minutes of the extra time catapulted the team to be the Champion of the current tourney.
        The Champion Nay Pyi Taw team was awarded Ks 15 lakhs while the second runner up Ayeyawady was awarded Ks 10 lakhs and Bago and Shan (East) who got the third place together were awarded Ks 5 lakhs respectively by the officials at the awarding ceremony after the final match.
