Myanmar lost by a score of
0-5 to Hannan University Club,
a Japanese team, in a friendly
match last night.
The match against Hannan was Myanmar’s last friendly football match in Japan in preparation for the 2018 Asian Football Confederation U-19 Championship Qualification.
Myanmar used different players from the team and made several substitutions throughout the match in an apparent effort to find a good combination of attacking and defense.
But differences in controlling the football and quality defending between the two team caused Myanmar to lose the match without scoring a goal.
The Myanmar coach said the experience was overall a positive one. Although we lost the match, my boys can shape in their playing style that I want.
Even though we allowed two goals in the first half and another three in the second half, they are getting progressive.
They have more confidences, but still need some requirements. I believe they can do well in the upcoming tourney,” said Myanmar U-19 Head Coach U Chit Naing.
The Myanmar U-19 team is leaving for Cambodia for the 2018 AFC U-19 Championship qualification today, according to Myanmar Football Federation.
